Dee and Joe Ed Holcomb
Hi. I am Dee Holcomb and my husband, Joe, and I live in the Northeast Georgia Mountains and we love our life. I started making goat's milk soap when I retired from Nursing in 2011. I worked as a Registered Nurse for 45 years before retiring and found my love for soaping. We love getting to know the people who buy our products so we did the local Farmers' Market in Cleveland, Ga as well as festivals in the area until this year We loved every minute of it but decided this year to stop doing them as they were so physically demanding.
Our Products
This started out as a hobby so everything I was making was for my family. I made soap and learned about all the different type of oils and other ingredients I could use in my soap. I decided if I was going to spend time doing this, I would make the best product I could so I finally settled on all natural oils and butters with no animal products for my soap and ingredients for my other products that contained no or as few as possible chemical additives. I had never used Goat's Milk soap before but, once I tried it, I was hooked. No need for me to make any other soap because I wouldn't use it.

You will see a difference in your skin the first time you step out of the shower or bath after using goat's milk soap. Your skin will not feel dry and itchy. I have customers who had eczema for years found that the eczema cleared just from using the soap. Goat's milk soap is great for all skin types. Goat's Milk :
- contains nutrients like fats, proteins and hormones and the natural cream in milk.
- has the same PH level as skin so protects skin from daily bacteria.
- is good for sensitive skin because doesn’t contain additives like alcohol, petroleum & preservatives.
- is good for acne because protein in milk kills acne-causing bacteria.
- helps slough off dead skin because of the alpha-hydroxy acids found in milk.
- is good for eczema (skin condition causing red, itchy patches). The goat’s milk moisturizes skin and reduces itchiness in skin.
- is a natural emollient that helps soothe and moisturize the skin.
- contains vitamins A, B6, B12 and E.
- has 3 times more beta-casein than cow’s milk. Caseins are easily absorbed into the skin and allow for quick hydration of dry skin.
- contains triglycerides, capric, caprylic and caproic acid which help balance the skin’s natural pH and promotes natural exfoliation of dry skin.

Small bars of soap are immensely popular as a Wedding Momento. Our bars are half the size of our 5 ounce bar and big enough to support a nice label. Guests love having a personal gift to take home. You choose the soaps you want to use, tell us what you want the label to look like, give us 6 weeks - 2 months notice and you will have a personal gift your guests will love.
